About

Chef Danielle Sanders started her culinary career cooking breakfast and taking care of guests at the Red Lion Bed & Breakfast. She attended Yorktowne Business Institue's School of Culinary Arts to improve her skills. While attending the school she started having tea parties at the Bed & Breakfast four to six times a year. Through referrals and word of mouth her mailing list grew. Soon more space was needed.

As her skills grew she also needed a better kitchen. When she first saw the space where the bakery would be established, she knew this was the place for her bakery. With some extrodinary effort, in 4 months, Chef Dani and her brother-in-law took an open, empty space and created a hidden treasure.

The Red Brick Bakery opened on February 19th 2005 with a bang. There was a line to the door all morning. The popularity of the bakery has continued with customers coming for individual tea parties, specialty tea parties, lunch, and baked goods.

Chef Dani enjoys providing a variety of flavors and a changing menu. While you can find scones, muffins, cookies, mini breads, a sandwich and soup every week, the flavors will be something to investigate regularly!

If you don't get a chance to come to the bakery you will soon be able to get Chef Dani's baked goods online, at catering events, and possibly at local restaurants and cafes. Keep Chef Dani in mind if you would like to plan a tea party for a shower, birthday or other event. She has room for 20-24 people at the bakery and can do on-site tea party catering as well.

I love looking at your website. this is absolutely beautiful... I am a new graduate of the New England Culinary Institute, and was wondering if there are any open positions for help in the bakeshop or help with the cakes around July or August. I would love to work in such a place as this. If so i could send you my resume. thank you so much, and I look forward to talking to you. Christine

I hosted a lovely bridal shower at the Red Brick Bakery in January. Thank you Chef Dani for being so flexible and allowing us to enjoy such a good afternoon. The tea and food was delicious and we had many compliments. Thanks again for all of your hard work!

3 friends looking for a place to celebrate our birthdays. Wondering if you can accommodate someone who doesn't eat meat.

I was at the tea room last week and my sister and I had a great time. We really liked the radish and sprout sandwich but could not figure out what else was on it. If you can please let me know, it was great! Keep up the good work!
